Andy Murray put forward a fighting performance in the first round of the Australian Open but couldn’t secure a victory against Roberto Bautista Agut.
The British tennis star went two-sets down in the game, but made a solid comeback to make it 2-2. However, the Spanish player cruised past Murray in the final set to proceed to the second round.
The final scoreline read 6-4 6-4 6-7 6-7 6-2.
Murray stated in the post-match interview that his future in the sport remains unsure, but remains hopeful of a comeback.
