DD vs CSK- Weather Report, Pitch Report and Head to Head

When you have ABD on the field, there is an air of expectancy around. Onlookers just expect something magical from him, because that is what we have been forced to come to terms with; that ABD can produce magic on the field.

And still, whenever he does, he leaves you awestruck, even though you were expecting something of that sort from cricket’s superman.

Despite the element of surprise not being a factor, ABD manages to surprise the entire cricketing fraternity. And that is one of the greatest joys of watching him on the field.

Tonight was no different, He came into bat at number 3 and took the attack to the SRH bowlers, setting a platform for the lower order to take RCB over 200 in a must win encounter.

It seemed like it would be RCB’s night, it just had to, but a third umpring error and dropped catch from Kohli signalled that it wouldn’t be all smooth sailing for RCB in the second innings.

And just when it seemed like Hales would be getting away a little, ABD came up with the catch of the tournament, leaping in the air, taking a one-handed catch and staying inside the ropes.

When the ball left Hales’ bat, it never seemed like staying within the boundary rope, but you can’t leave any possibilities out when AB is in the middle, can you?

And that is exactly what happened, ABD took that leap of faith and landed within the boundary with the ball in his hand.

Virat Kohli and RCB went crazy as they realised that this catch could well have put them in the drivers seat tonight.
