During the fourth day of the third Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Melbourne, India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant was seen taking a revenge of what Australia captain Tim Paine did to him yesterday.
In yesterday’s last hour, Paine was heard as asking Pant if he fancies playing for Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League or babysit his kids. With a role-reversal happening today, Pant didn’t hesitate from returning the favour in style.

It is worth mentioning that Pant has been constantly in the ears of the Australian batsmen. From Usman Khawaja to Pat Cummins, Pant has had a few things to say to the Australian batsmen in this series.
“We’ve got a special guest here in today, Mayank [Agarwal]. Have you heard the word ‘temporary captain’ ever (twice)? You don’t need to get him out boy. Come one boys. That’s the only thing he can do boy. Only talking talking,” Pant was heard as saying on the stump mic.
Just like Pant didn’t respond to any of Paine’s comments yesterday, Paine didn’t bother giving a reply to the Indian cricketer. Watch the full video below:

Chasing a target of 399 runs to win the match, Australia have lost half their side with less than 150 runs on the board. In Travis Head and Paine, they have the last recognized pair batting in the middle.
It would require a gargantuan effort from the pair or the following Australia’s lower-order to save the match or even take it to the fifth day.
