265-lbs Conor McGregor Stuns Fans With 'Iron Man'-Esque Physique Post Training at SBG
‘The Notorious’ suffered a horrific leg injury in 2021. He has fully recovered from it since and is vigorously training for his UFC return.
The Irishman was recently spotted training with his wrestling coach Sergey Pikulskiy at home gym SBG in Ireland
The previous champion at featherweight and lightweight no longer resembles either weight class in pictures he uploaded on Instagram.
McGregor has gained significant weight since his injury. Fans can’t help but notice the huge size of his quad muscles.
One fan even spotted a resemblance in the UFC champion’s physique and the famous suit from Marvel’s Iron Man.
Following the post, McGregor responded to a fan who claimed that he weighed more than 220 pounds by saying that he actually weighed more like 265 pounds.
Despite returning to training, McGregor’s UFC return has been pushed back to the 2nd quarter of 2023, as fighters need to be USADA tested 6-months prior to entering the octagon.
McGregor is surely making an effort for his return, but it remains to be seen if his bulk physique will help him perform better inside the Octagon.
