On 6th July 2022 Morant signed a five year contract extension with the Grizzlies.

The deal was a five year contract for $194 million all of which is guaranteed.

Average annual salary for Morant will be $38,860,000.

In the final year of his contract Morant stands to earn upto $44 million.
