Ahead of the 2023 season in order to protect himself better from such injuries Tagovailoa has adopted an interesting approach.
In an interview he said, "I went on YouTube, Searched ‘jiu jitsu falling.’ When you think of falling, you just fall. You don’t think there’s a way how to fall in weird, awkward positions, but it really does help."
Tua feels his training in Jiu-Jitsu will help him deal with blows a lot better this sentiment was echoed by Mike McDaniels as well.
