Close Friends Reveals Ten-Figure Amount Michael Jordan Will Receive From Potential Hornets Sale

NBA legend Michael Jordan became the first African American to be a majority owner of an NBA team in 2010.

Jordan acquired a controlling stake in the Charlotte Hornets basketball team in 2010.

It is reported that MJ paid $180 million for a 70% stake in the team.

After over a decade of ownership, the team has seen little to no success on the court.

Over the past few months, rumours have been increasing about Jordan wanting to sell his stake in the team.

According to reports, the team is valued at $1.7 billion.

Jordan's 70% stake in the team comes out to $1.2 billion.
