How Did Dennis Rodman & Carmen Electra End Up Getting Married?
Chicago Bulls Star Dennis Rodman met Carmen Electra at an LA nightclub. They connected immediately with Rodman constantly surprising Carmen with dates.
Carmen Electra recalls: "We exchanged numbers, and he would call and call. I wouldn’t respond. Finally, one day I picked up the phone & he invited me to come to hang out with him & I went for it."
The duo had a wild ride with plenty of crazy stories to tell from their non-stop partying to having s*x on the basketball court.
In what they described as an "all-night bender", the couple ended up in a chapel in Las Vegas at 6 AM & married each other.
There were several hurdles they got past - they had to try 5 different chapels before one took them. And the minister even discouraged them by explaining the importance of a wedding ring.
Somehow Dennis Rodman shrugged it off saying, "shut up & get on with it".
After 9 days, Rodman filed for an annulment claiming he wasn't of sound mind
Carmen Electra also explained later how she was in the middle of a tragedy losing her mother & sister in a matter of 2 weeks.
The couple did reconcile & stayed married for around 6-months before finally filing for divorce with mutual agreement.
