Scam Allegations

In 2018 Paul was caught in a controversy regarding his website Edfluence which offered programs that claimed to teach young people how to be successful and earn money online.

After not providing the promised deal, he was accused of scamming people. Later in 2020, Edfluence was shut down.

Party During Covid-19 Controversy

In 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, Paul threw a huge party at his home in Calabasas, California. He was accused of not following Covid guidelines after multiple complaints from neighbors.

The FBI Raid Controversy

In 2020, Paul's house was raided by the FBI as it was linked to causing a disturbance at an Arizona shopping mall during an unlawful assembly.

Paul's Feud with Zayn Malik

The feud started back in 2020 when the former 'One Direction' member was in Vegas to attend a boxing match between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder.

The feud started when Paul invited Malik and he rejected him. Gigi Hadid, who is Malik's ex-partner also came to his defence when Paul bashed him on Twitter. 

Cryptocurrency Sponsorship Controversy 

In the year 2023, Jake Paul was charged by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for violating investor protection laws. He was accused of promoting it without revealing that he had been sponsored to do it.
