Ayesha & Stephen Curry met each other as teenagers at a church in North Carolina.

Stephen Curry admits “always having his eyes for her”. They would exchange a few words whenever they pass each other at the church.

Ayesha Curry wasn’t allowed to date in high school, so that was that. A few years later she starts pursuing a career in acting in Los Angeles & she reconnects with none other than Stephen Curry.

They quickly move out of the friend zone & connect romantically. After dating for 3 years, they got married in 2011 at 22 & 23 years old & welcomed a daughter, Riley Elizabeth a year later.

A good twist of fate.

Funnily, back in high school when Ayesha Curry had to write down what she wanted in her “ideal spouse”, she had written, “no athletes because they’re arrogant”.
