Jacksonville Jaguars Threaten Relocation After $1 Billion Demand Was Rejected by Tax Payers

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently in the process of renovating their stadium.

Earlier this year, the Jaguars released renders of a 'Stadium of the Future' that they plan on building.

The project is set to cost around $2 billion of which only $1 billion will be put up by the team.

However, the taxpayers are not eager to spend 10 figures to fund a football stadium.

In a recent press conference, Jaguars President Mike Lamping said, "If there’s a referendum, the ballot question should be: Do you want to keep the NFL in Jacksonville."

He continued, "Look, if Jacksonville loses an NFL team, they’re never going to get another one."

What do you make of the situation and the Jacksonville Jaguars threat to relocate.

Arguably the best investment of Williams' career so far was buying a stake in the Miami Dolphins in 2009 when it was valued at $1 billion. Today it is valued at around $3.42 billion.
