LeBron James Was Sued $150,000 For Using His Own Photo On Instagram

LeBron James posted a picture of himself dunking the ball in a Heat-Lakers clash after the game on Facebook & Instagram

However the Lakers Star got slapped with a lawsuit of $150,000 for posting the picture without the photographer’s permission.

His act counts as copyright infringement by using photographer Steven Mitchell’s work according to the Federal lawsuit.

$1B-Worth LeBron James files a countersued against the photographer 

After trying to settle it off-court, LeBron James sought $1 million & legal fees 

According to James, the photographer had been making “unlawful use of photographs of LeBron James to promote his business”

A year later, the 4-time NBA Champion & the Photographer settled at a mutually-agreed term & amount, details of which were not made public.
