Michael Jordan Returns for the 4th Time With His Own Team to an Uncanny Sport With $10 Million in Prize Money

Michael Jordan is one of the richest athletes of all time.


While it is public knowledge that Jordan used to own an NBA team and also owns a NASCAR team, not many know about his involvement in competitive fishing.



Jordan owns a competitive fishing team called 'Catch 23' that participates in competitive fishing tournaments throughout the United States.



The team is currently participating in the 50th White Marlin Open, an event Jordan is in attendance for.

This is the fourth straight year that Jordan has been in attendance for the event to support his team. 



The competition will take place over 5 days and comprises of five other teams.



The total prize money of $10 million is distributed across those five days.
