Michael Jordan has built the Jordan brand with Nike to an enormous $10 billion valuation!

The NBA GOAT signed with the budding sneaker brand back in 1984, during his rookie season.

Nike is a household name today, but back then, Adidas & Converse were on top of the sneaker game.

The Chicago Bulls Star admits years later, that he never even wore a pair of Nike shoes before 1984!

In fact, Michael Jordan hoped to sign with Adidas or Converse, the brands that he loved back then!

And can't really blame the man, Nike was largely making running shoes back then. It certainly was a bold & risky move, even for Jordan.

So, why did Jordan sign with Nike?

Nike was the only brand that agreed to make a signature line of sneakers dedicated to Jordan, and make him the face of the brand.

He simply got a better deal!

And good for both Nike & Michael Jordan. 'His Airness' put Nike on the map & he now earns a large part of his $1.7B fortune from Nike.

Michael Jordan is estimated to earn around $150M every year from Nike!
