Charles Barkley once threw a man through a glass window, threatening him with a "If You Bother Me, I'm Going to Whip Your Ass" moment

Stained-glass windows, a Top 40 music, and Nickel Beer Night made Phineas Phogg's a popular spot for partygoers of all backgrounds eager to have fun or make poor decisions at the time.

On a Sunday night, Charles and Drexler decided to chill at the well-liked pub and met Gilbert Feliciano, a thirty-year-old Spanish reggae musician. Feliciano was invited to join the players.

Jorge Lugo, who was underage but had partied with a group of pals all day with six-packs of beer after a significant soccer match, was also present in the pub.

Feliciano noticed that ice cubes were thrown towards the table where Charles and his friends were seated as Lugo and his party appeared to be leaving the bar. Although no one was struck, the ice crystals upset the women who were gathered around the NBA luminaries.

Feliciano claimed that Charles' justification for avoiding conflict was that the crowd was obviously having a good time because they were chanting so loudly that they were disturbing the bar.

The player allegedly informed police that Lugo then hurled a glass of ice at Charles and the women. A woman was thrown from a chair after being hit in the jaw by a piece of glass.

Feliciano recalled, the power forward got up and blazed past onlookers to chase down Lugo, who at five-foot-two and 110 pounds was at least fourteen inches shorter. “He was running for his life,” Colon said of Lugo.

Outside, Feliciano had followed Drexler and the females. One of the women publicly challenged him in front of a growingly enraged audience, and Charles glanced behind him.

“You’re not gonna do shit. You’re nothing but a big-ass pussy.” The taunt set Barkley off.

Charles threw Lugo through the plate glass window in a matter of seconds. Charles approached Lugo and "flung him like he was a toy," Colon told reporters.

Blood gushed from a wound in Lugo's right arm where a piece of the broken window's glass had struck an artery. “You got what you deserve, you don’t disrespect me. I hope you’re hurt.”

Before the paramedics arrived, Feliciano wrapped Lugo's arm in his shirt and applied pressure. Charles was initially accused of committing a second-degree felony, which carries a potential fifteen-year jail sentence.
