NFL Teams Splurging Big Money: Take a Look at the $163 Million in New Contracts Handed Out in the Last Week
The NFL off season is upon us and a number of teams are securing key players with long term contracts or acquiring new ones.
Today we take a look at some of the biggest deals that have taken place over the last week.
DeAndre Hopkins finally found a home and signed a 2-year $26 million deal with the Tennessee Titans. Worth up to $32 million with incentives.
Next up, Joe Mixon of the Cincinnati Bengals took a $3.4 million hit on his pay to stay with the Bengals and fight for a Super Bowl.
Tight end for the Jaguars Evan Engram signed a 3-year $41.2 million contract extension with $24 million guaranteed.
Next up DT Quinnen Williams signed a 4-year $96 million deal which makes him the second highest paid DT after Aaron Donald.
Most recently, the Giants and Saquon Barkley failed to reach an agreement on an extension.
