Adidas famously passed on the chance to sign Michael Jordan when they had the chance.

In 2022, the Jordan brand alone did $5.2 billion in sales.

Mahomes is believed to be the next 'GOAT' in football and already has two Super Bowl rings to his name.

Jordan alone pocketed $256 million from Nike in 2022 thanks to the success of the Jordan brand.

Mahomes has just recently launched his first shoe collaboration with Adidas.

It will be interesting to see if Adidas and Mahomes reach the same heights as Jordan and Nike.
