Two Decades After NBA Rivalry Ended Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson Teamed Up for a $26 Million Investment

Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan will go down as two of the greatest ever NBA players.

For over a decade, Jordan and Johnson displayed insane levels of basketball while fighting for championships.

Two decades after their NBA rivalry ended the two megastars invested in the same company.

In 2018, Johnson was a part of an investment round that put in $26 million into the parent company of Team Liquid a premier E-sports team.

A few months later, Jordan joined an investment round in the same company, aXiomatic.

At the time of the investment Team Liquid was valued around $200 million.

Today the team is valued around $500 million.

This means that Jordan and Johnson have seen over a 220% increase in their investment.
