McGregor Is Outside The Top-15 Of Any Weight Class For The First Time Since 2013

The UFC updated its official rankings with several changes in the lightweight division. What came as a shock to most people was that Conor McGregor fell out of the official UFC rankings for the first time in eight years!

When did he appear in the rankings for the first time?

McGregor has been in the UFC rankings since beating Max Holloway at featherweight in August 2013. The win came against Holloway in his second UFC fight. The former two-division champion is now looking to bounce back from injury and fight for another UFC title.

Where did he stand before?

He held the No. 14 spot at 155 pounds, but the latest UFC rankings update does not have McGregor anywhere to be found.

Will he make a comeback?

Conor McGregor announced on Instagram Live a return to the UFC and plans to compete once again in "early 2023." Conor is bulking up currently to move to welterweight class. He might make a comeback but it is highly unexpected given his age.
