MMA Stars React To Sam Smith’s Satanic Performance At The Grammy Awards
The Grammy Awards performance of Sam Smith's song "Unholy" caused some controversy among UFC fighters and other sections of the community.
Smith entered the stage while it was illuminated by flames and crimson lights, mimicking the setting of a satanic ritual. He was dressed as the devil.
Kim Petras, a German vocalist who performed with Smith, sang from inside a cage. Others, including several right-wingers, expressed bitterness towards the performance and called it a "satanic ritual."
As reported by ‘The Independent’, Madonna introduced Smith before the performance saying, “Are you ready for a little controversy?”
She also added, “Here’s what I’ve learned after four decades in music. If they call you shocking, scandalous, troublesome, problematic, provocative, or dangerous, you are definitely onto something.”
Later that night, Smith and Petras' performance of the song "Unholy" was recognised with the prize for best Pop duo/Group performance.
Let's take a look at how big names from all over the world reacted to this!
Former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez wrote, "End times sponsored by Phizer Jesus is real call on his holy name our days are short! Don’t miss the rapture the age of the spirit of AI will not be blessed."
