When did Michael Jordan Retire?

He led the Bulls to a legendary three-peat. But 2 months after his father's tragic death, he retired from the NBA in 1993 at the age of 30!

To everyone's surprise, the NBA GOAT was off to try his hand in baseball.

Jordan's decision to move to baseball was because growing up, his father James Jordan would always envisage Michael as a baseball player

After a brief Minor Baseball League career, he retires.
The NBA Legend rightfully returns to Chicago Bulls & leads the team to a 2nd three-peat!

He decides to retire in 1999 following Phil Jackson's contract expiration

He's soon back to NBA, but time as a part-owner of Washington Wizards. Later he would also decide to play & comes back as a player or the final time.

He makes his final retirement from NBA on April 16th, 2003. He was 40 years old!
