IIn July 1993, James Jordan went missing for several weeks. He had gone for a golf trip & was spotted on the Highway, inside his car.
Turns out, he stopped for a bit during the long drive to take a nap and was unfortunately spotted by two robbers.
Larry Martin Demery & Daniel Andre Green found James' car. While they intended to only tie him, Green allegedly pulled the trigger on James Jordan, killing him with a gunshot wound while he was asleep.
Right now, Larry Demery got parole, the triggerman Daniel Green's parole was cancelled.
Michael Jordan was deeply affected by his dad's death & couldn't continue playing basketball. He made the infamous pivot to baseball right after this.
