Sasha Banks is heading to NJPW, and according to reports, will not be returning to WWE anytime soon. Dave Meltzer recently reported the whole incident in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about why Sasha Banks is leaving the organisation. Let's take a look at the same!

Why did Sasha Banks leave WWE?

A lot of the issues between Banks and WWE are believed to be due to pay, with her wanting more money. Sasha Banks reportedly sought a salary same as Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair during negotiations.

Why did WWE reject her offer?

WWE sees Banks as somebody who has already "peaked as a star," per the report. The company doesn't believe she will be on top for the next five years but views her as a wrestler who could at least be called upon for a singles or tag team title run.

Meltzer writes that it is believed Lynch and Flair both signed deals with a $1 million guarantee.
