“You Expect Him to Be Responsible?”- Rapper Lil Wayne Slams Ja Morant After Latest Gun Controversy

Memphis Grizzlies star man Ja Morant is suspended once again after flashing a gun on social media.

The 23-year-old is now facing his second suspension just a few months after being suspended for the exact same reason.

While the length of the punishment is not known at this point, it is safe to assume it will be a lot stricter than his first penalty.

A number of former players have criticized Morant for being irresponsible, the most recent one being Rapper Lil Wayne.

In a recent interview Lil Wayne shared his thoughts on Morant's latest suspension.

He said, "He comes from a town of 3000 people. I’m like, ‘What? What y’all expect?’ Y’all gave him $200 million. I just said, ‘a town with 3000 people.’ You expect him to be responsible? Now we tripping"

Morant signed a five-year $194 million contract extension last year.
