Why Did Klopp Substituted Salah against Chelsea : Real Reason Behind Mohamed Salah’s Substitution Comes To Light

The German referee was in no mood to take Klopp’s comments lying down

Ripped into shreds by Real Madrid on Tuesday in the Champions League, Liverpool had no one but themselves to blame for their tepid, meek and timid performance. The club was horrific for a magnitude of the encounter, a bogus display which left the club in a soup at the end of the 90 minutes.

Brych Replies To Klopp’s Claims

However, Jurgen Klopp clearly felt that referee Felix Brych had a hand to play in the side’s defeat as well. The Liverpool head honcho was seen calling Brych and his decisions towards Sadio Mane as he chased him outside the pitch ensuing the defeat.

German Brych was in no mood to let Klopp’s outburst go unanswered though as he hit back with, “ What you’re doing now is unfair too.”

Klopp Lashes Out At Brych

Klopp had spoken about the referring on the night during his presser and had taken particular issue with the decisions meted out by Brych. Citing a foul on Sadio Mane, Klopp claimed Brych decision to not give a freekick to Liverpool alluded towards Brych settling a personal issue with Mane.

“The situation with Sadio, I have to say what the ref did tonight I don’t understand,” said the Liverpool boss. “For me, there was something personal.

“He dealt with situation from Sadio, which is a clear foul, like it was a dive (by Mane) or whatever.

“From that moment on, whenever Sadio went down he didn’t get anything anymore.

“It’s just not right. That’s what I told him (the referee) after the game, that I just thought he was unfair with Sadio. That’s how it is.

“But that doesn’t change anything at all. He didn’t lose us the game, we were not good enough to get a better result.

“But in these moments obviously you need just an okay ref. That would have been enough.”
