Yannick Carrasco offered to Arsenal

Yannick Carrasco offered to Arsenal: The midfielder eyes a return to Europe and has been reportedly offered to the North London club.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of players in the January transfer window. While the side is close to complete a deal for Denis Suarez, they’re also being speculated to make a move for Belgian attacker Yannick Carrasco.

The side is currently fifth in the Premier League table, and seem to return to winning ways after two successive victories in the Premier League and the FA Cup third round fixture.

Carrasco joined Chinese club Dalian Yifang in 2017 from Atletico Madrid, but wants a return to Europe.

While Manchester United are also rumoured to make a move for the Belgian player, there has been a major development surrounding his move to Arsenal.

Yannick Carrasco ‘offered’ to Arsenal:

The Belgian winger was previously linked with a move to Manchester United, as the Old Trafford side pushed to bring Carrasco back to Europe.

However, according to Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur (via Daily Mail), Yannick Carrasco has been offered to Arsenal.

Unai Emery has previously stated that Arsenal might eye a move for ‘one or two’ players in the January transfer window. While it’s no secret that a deal for Denis Suarez could be on the table, a move for Carrasco could benefit the side.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi are overburdened with the duty on the wings at the moment, and while Mkhitaryan is out with injury, Iwobi has been inconsistent throughout the season.

The winger currently earns 170,000 euros/week at the Chinese Super League side, and will not settle for less.

It was earlier reported that Manchester United are not the only club eyeing a signature for the 25-year-old Belgian winger. It has been reported that AC Milan are also monitoring his situation in China.

According to Manchester Evening News, Leonardo Jardim, the former Monaco manager, could be appointed the new manager at Dalian Yifang, and might convince Carrasco to stay at the club.
