WATCH : Virat Kohli takes a stunning catch to dismiss Dinesh Karthik
What a catch from Virat Kohli!
The Indian skipper took a stunning catch late in the day, as Kohli dived full length and snuffled a brilliant catch to dismiss DK.
The KKR skipper was superb as he played a wonderful cameo to all but seal the match for his team. Chris Lynn played a wonderful innings as he anchored the chase, as KKR always had the match under control.
Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli scored a fluent half century as the RCB skipper seemed determined to give his side a vital victory over KKR tonight.
Virat Kohli must be wondering what his team needs to do to finally find a winning formula. Heading into this year’s IPL, RCB were quite confident that they had finally picked a squad with sufficient bowling depth and quality.
The likes of Yadav, Southee, Woakes, Chahal, Sundar and Ali were expected to give RCB the one of the best bowling attacks in the IPL, which is why Kohli was so confident that they would do well this season.
This track was not the batting heaven from previous matches at the Chinnaswamy, as the ball held up and turned a little bit for the KKR bowlers.
After a decent start from De Kock and McCullum, Andre Russell struck in quick succession to bring KKR back in the game.
The RCB skipper though held firm, as Kohli unleashed some of his trademark shots to light up the Chinnaswamy.
Kohli’s catch though was outstanding and certainly right up there with some of the best catches in the tournament so far.
