Arsenal will take on Watford in an important Premier League clash for the Gunners at the Vicarage Road.

Arsenal will travel to Vicarage Road as they take on Watford on Monday night in the Premier League.

The side faces an uphill task in the league for the top-4 finish, as they conceded another away defeat to Everton at Goodison Park last weekend.

Arsenal’s away form has been a huge cause of concern for Unai Emery. In their 15 away games, Arsenal have scored only 19 points.

The side will aim to better the record when they take on Watford. Emery, in his press conference after the game against Napoli in the Europa League, stated that he might decide to rest key players for the Watford game to keep them fit for the second leg.

Let’s take a look at the Dream11 team for Watford vs Arsenal.

Watford vs Arsenal Dream 11 prediction:

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

Even when Arsenal’s away form has been a concern, I’d still go with Bernd Leno for this game. Unai Emery’s side simply cannot afford to drop points in the Premier League at this stage. Even if Leno conceded, Arsenal have enough firepower to defeat Watford.

Defence: Koscielny, Kolasinac, Maitland-Niles, Femenia

Laurent Koscielny, Sead Kolasinac and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are all expected to start in the game against Watford on Monday night. With the absence of Sokratis due to suspension, Koscielny will play a major role in the central defence.

I expect Emery to play a three-man central defence to cover up the absence of Sokratis – which means that Maitland Niles and Kolasinac will both play as wing-backs.

Watford suffered a setback ahead of the game as Holebas was ruled out of the game after the injury he sustained in the FA Cup semifinal against Wolves. I’ve picked Femenia for the clash.

Midfield: Mkhitaryan, Iwobi, Doucoure

I expect Unai Emery to keep Ozil on the bench, or maybe even rest the midfielder for this clash. Arsenal faces Napoli in a crucial second-leg game in the Europa League and Emery would want a full-strength squad for the game.

Mkhitaryan and Iwobi might start against Watford and I bank upon them to create chances in the game. I had two options in Hughes and Doucoure for a third spot in the midfield, and chose the latter for my team.

Doucoure offers more and was a better player in Watford’s previous game against Wolves, where Hughes had struggled.

Forward: Lacazette, Deulofeu, Deeney

I expect Watford to score because of Arsenal’s weakened defence, and hence I’ve both, Deulofeu and Deeney in my team. Both the players have been in good touch in the last few week.

Deulofeu’s form has been brilliant and the player was immense against Wolves in the FA Cup semifinal. Hence, he’s my vice-captain. I bank upon Alexandre Lacazette to provide Arsenal with key breakthroughs in the game as he’s expected to start as the sole striker in the game for the side.
