Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal might consider to sell their star striker to fund mammoth Wilfried Zaha deal with Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace might loathe to lose its best two players in a single transfer window, as after Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s deal with Manchester United, Wilfried Zaha is massively being targeted by Arsenal.
Thus, according to a report by the BBC Sport, Crystal Palace have raised the demanding price for the 26-year-old forward to £80 million. Hence, increasing problems for Arsenal to further pursue the player as the North London club doesn’t have enough transfer budget to hire him.
The Ivorian International has been phenomenal last season, as he amassed 10 goals and 5 assists in 39 appearances for the Eagles. Hence, making the Gunners interested in the player.
However, Crystal Palace have no financial pressure to transfer the player this summer, therefore, adding further problems for the North London club.
Although, it is sure that £80 million is a price, which Crystal Palace can easily refuse, and can be lured, if they are offered such a colossal sum.
Thus, Arsenal can fund this transfer, if they decide to sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, since he is receiving massive offers from China, and he has reportedly shown interest in joining the Chinese league.
So, Unai Emery can opt to gain a colossal amount to enhance the budget pool to gain the services of Zaha from Crystal Palace. Moreover, the Gunners can give more prominent role to Alexandre Lacazette, with support from Zaha on the left-flank.
For now, Arsenal have not shown any further advances for the player, but it could be a good deal considering Zaha is only 26-year-old and can give several years to the club.
