After drawing the match against Huddersfield, Manchester United are officially out of the top 4 race. With 66 points on the table, the Red Devils are officially sitting at the sixth spot of the Premier league.

The Red Devils were in a contest against Chelsea and Arsenal for the 4th spot, but the former’s draw against Huddersfield, Blue’s 3-0 victory against Watford and Arsenal’s probable win against Brighton has buried the hopes of United fans.

Manchester United had an underwhelming season as they have accumulated lowest number of points among the elite six teams of the Premier league.

However, in a post match interview to the SkySports, club captain Ashley Young gave a shocking statement. He defended the poor exhibits by the players.

The 33-year-old player said that you can’t fault the effort and attitude of the players today. In response, The Red Devils fans all over the internet blasted the club captain.
