"I like MS Dhoni": Sreejesh PR's tweet on MS Dhoni and CSK goes viral after India win Hockey Bronze in Tokyo Olympics 2021

Sreejesh PR’s tweet on MS Dhoni: The Indian goal-keeper had once picked CSK as his favourite IPL team due to the legendary Indian wicket-keeper.

India goal-keeper Sreejesh PR is doing the rounds in the media after his stellar defensive performance in the Bronze Medal match against Germany played a pivotal role in his team’s victory.

India, who were lacking behind by 1-3 at one point in time, turned the tables in an emphatic manner by scoring as many as four more goals as the score read 5-3.

With Germany scoring another goal during the business end of the match, the onus was on a tried and tested Sreejesh to not let the opposition score another goal and draw level.

Sreejesh’s excellent effort came when it mattered the most for his country as India have won an Olympic Medal after 41 years.

On the historic day, one of Sreejesh’s old tweets has gone viral. Answering a question asked by a fan (suspended account now), Sreejesh had picked Chennai Super Kings as his best IPL team due to former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s presence.

“@ChennaiIPL .. I like @msdhoni so definitely chennai,” Sreejesh had tweeted last year. Apart from expressing admiration for Super Kings’ captain in this tweet, Sreejesh has tweeted regarding the legendary cricketer on multiple occasions.
