With Test spots up for grabs, Indian batsmen and wicket-keeper batsmen would be mindful of a praiseworthy knock guaranteeing them a place in the first Test against Australia in Adelaide starting from December 17.

As far as the second day is concerned, weather is highly likely to remain on the cloudier side. Going by the current weather prediction, rain could once again play spoilsport. It is worth mentioning that there is a 51% rain probability in the first session.
The second part of the Day 2 will mostly be on the sunnier side but even that has a rain probability ranging around 30%. While some overs could be lost in the form of a rain interruption or two due to rain, a complete washout is nowhere on the cards.
