Sydney Cricket Ground Weather for practice match: What is the weather prediction for Australia A vs India SCG tour game?

Sydney Cricket Ground Weather: The SportsRush presents for you the detailed weather prediction for the second warm-up match.

The second day of the second tour match of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia in Sydney promises to be a riveting contest with the pink ball especially after as many as 20 wickets fell on Day 1.

India captain Ajinkya Rahane’s decision of batting first after winning the toss was justified by stroke-filled innings from Shubman Gill (43) and Prithvi Shaw (40) but what followed was unforeseen.

If India’s batting collapse within a session followed by Jasprit Bumrah’s maiden first-class half-century wasn’t enough, Australia too contributed in the frenzy by getting bundled out for 108 in 32.2 overs.

Leading by 86 runs, the visitors would want to make amends at the Sydney Cricket Ground tomorrow. With Test spots up for grabs, Indian batsmen and wicket-keeper batsmen would be mindful of a praiseworthy knock guaranteeing them a place in the first Test against Australia in Adelaide starting from December 17.

The first day of play was also witness to interference from the rain gods in the final session. After an interruption, play resumed but only to see the hosts get all out.

As far as the second day is concerned, weather is highly likely to remain on the cloudier side. Going by the current weather prediction, rain could once again play spoilsport. It is worth mentioning that there is a 51% rain probability in the first session.

The second part of the Day 2 will mostly be on the sunnier side but even that has a rain probability ranging around 30%. While some overs could be lost in the form of a rain interruption or two due to rain, a complete washout is nowhere on the cards.
