Eden Hazard honours former Club Chelsea through a classy gesture. The now Real Madrid star has further endeared himself to his fans at Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard finally made his dream move to Real Madrid this summer. But before that, he led Chelsea to a 3rd place finish in the premiere league and played a vital role in the Blues lifting the Euro cup.

He has already impressed fans at the Bernabeu. Video footages from the practice sessions have come out and the Belgian looked a class apart. However, the attacking midfielder still has a place in his heart for his old supporters.

Hazard was given a custom Nike Mercurial Vapor360. The Galactico worked closely with Nike during the design and has made sure to give a little nod to his former home.

The new boot is mostly white and gold – reflecting Real’s kit colours. There is also a dash of blue at the heel, which is reminiscent of Chelsea, a club he spent 7 years in.

“Racer Blue accents honor his former club while metallic gold accents nod to his new club,” – a statement on Nike’s official website read in part.

During his farewell, the Belgian had said that the club and the fans would always be special to him. The fans at London have appreciated the gesture and have gone to adore him even more than they already did.

Chelsea Fans reaction on Twitter

Eden Hazard joined Chelsea on 4th June 2012. He spent 7 years at Stamford Bridge winning two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues and an FA Cup. The Belgian star has been a tremendous athlete and consummate professional for Chelsea. Los Blancos will hope that the attacking mid will offer them the same service during his stay at the Spanish Capital.

This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
