ENG Vs SUI Dream11 Prediction: The SportsRush brings you the Dream11 prediction between England and Switzerland.

England and Switzerland lost their respective Nations League Semifinals 3-1 to the Netherlands and Portugal respectively. They will now face each other in a place for Bronze medal in this prestigious tournament.

England made calamitous mistakes in their previous game, whereas, Switzerland were not able to take their chances and were undone by the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese International scored the hat-trick to erase Swiss hopes of progressing to the finals.

Gareth Southgate did not have some of his first choices during the game against the Netherlands, but he will be able to restore Liverpool and Spurs players in the starting eleven for this game. Switzerland will be hoping to clinch the third place, a position which will prove to be a success.

In this article, we shall look at the Dream11 prediction between England and Switzerland.

England Vs Switzerland Dream11 team

Formation: 4-5-1

GOALKEEPER

Jordan Pickford: England’s Jordan Pickford was hapless in the game against the Netherlands. In the previous game, two goals were down to defensive mistakes and Pickford was not able to bail them out of that calamity. He is not comfortable with his feet, but he is a very good saver and commands his team from the back.

DEFENDERS

Trent Alexander Arnold: Trent Alexander Arnold ended up his club’s assist numbers in double figures last season. The English full-back is the main source of creativity for Liverpool and will continue the same if he is provided with a chance for England. He is expected to replace Kyle Walker in the defensive right flank.

Fabian Schar: Fabian Schar is a very good defender. He was a rock for Newcastle United in the back and will be pivotal in Swiss’ backline. He has the ability to run through the midfield and launch pile drivers from outside the box. He can score goals from set pieces too.

Harry Maguire: Harry Maguire is the mainstay in England’s defence. The Leicester City defender is one of the best defenders in the league. He has the ability to run past the midfield and score goals from set pieces as well.

Ricardo Rodriguez: Ricardo Rodriguez is susceptible in the defensive part of the game, but he has the capability to rile up numbers in the attacking areas. He is the main set piece taker for his nation and can nick a goal or two.

MIDFIELDERS

Granit Xhaka: Granit Xhaka likes to sit back with the defence and dictate the play from the back. The midfielder also has the habit of scoring goals from long rangers. He is also a good set-piece taker and wins plenty of duels in the middle of the park.

Steven Zuber: Steven Zuber plays in attacking midfielder position for Switzerland. He is yet to open his account, but has the vision to make things happen in the final end of the pitch. He is the main creator of his side.

Xherdan Shaqiri (C): Xherdan Shaqiri should have nicked at least two assists in the game against Portugal. Seferovic came the closest, but he was not able to produce the finishing touch. He is the free-kick taker for Switzerland and has the panache to find the top corner. He has extraordinary vision and can rack up goals as well.

Jesse Lingard (VC): Jesse Lingard was used as a substitute in the last game. The English International came on and scored, but it was adjudged as off-side in the second half. He is completely a different player for England because Southgate is flexible with his players.

Jadon Sancho: Jadon Sancho was blowing hot and cold in the last game, but he has the ability to tear up the defence. The young forward has been one of the best performers and has sight to pick out passes and break the backline. He also has the nack of scoring goals.

FORWARD

Raheem Sterling: Raheem Sterling struggled to find his rhythm last time, but he could exploit the backline of Switzerland. The English International’s form has slumped over the recent weeks, but he always has the threat in the final third by regularly contributing.
