Mick Schumacher’s Crash History Preceding Him Made Fans Worry for PSG Superstar’s Life

Mick Schumacher has recently been seen on a hot lap with former PSG star Blaise Matuidi. As the fans spotted Matuidi, they began to pray for him since he was with Schumacher, who’s well known for scary crashes.

Schumacher Jr. has made a name for himself to be a crash-prone driver. From getting his team a hefty paycheck for his crashes to ruining his bright F1 future temporarily, the high-speed shunts played a big part in his life.

Admittedly, the German is believed to have lost his F1 seat, credit to his crashes in the 2022 season. The multiple damages to his Haas last year made Guenther Steiner oust him from the team and place Nico Hulkenberg in the American team.

As the fans saw the former French soccer star, they were on the praying avatar. However, Matuidi, who seemed a bit relaxed, began to panic as he set off with the Mercedes reserve driver.

Mick Schumacher takes Matuidi for a spin

As the young German took the Soccer star for a spin in the Mercedes, little did he think that he would remember the lap for his lifetime.

The Hot Lap in Mercedes is believed to be from Miami F1 Grand Prix, and Matuidi, who played for the local soccer team Inter Miami for three seasons, is believed to have arrived as a guest.

As the duo entered the car, Schumacher helped him get his helmet and seatbelt correct and received a “thank you, boss” in response. As they began the lap, the 24-year-old dictated the sharp turns, long chicanes, and tight sectors, which made the Soccer star crazy with every passing turn.

Seeing this, the fans couldn’t wait to share their reactions online. Given below are some of the reactions taken from social media: William Foyle on Facebook had a cheeky take on Guenther Steiner’s reaction from last year.

Alphonsusjr on Instagram joked about Mick Schumacher’s crash history in F1.

Aloha Lui on Facebook recalled the 2022 Saudi Arabian GP disaster.

Can Schumacher come back to the grid in 2024?

As things stand, the future of Mick Schumacher is still cloudy, as none of the teams have reported an empty seat. With Haas and other top teams interested in the German, Schumacher is still to find out his seat in F1.

Furthermore, Helmut Marko of Red Bull also suggested that even if Nyck de Vries is ousted from AlphaTauri, that will not guarantee a seat for the German.

Moreover, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff also found it tough to secure his 2024 drive. All in all, the future of the young German driver is very much in jeopardy, at least for the upcoming 2024 F1 season.
