How will Chelsea lineup with Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic
How will Chelsea lineup with Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell and Christian Pulisic as Chelsea is close bringing in the first two players in the squad.
Chelsea has sparked excitement in the transfer market with their sudden activity. First, out of nowhere, they grabbed the opportunity to sign Timo Werner, on which Liverpool was holding on for long.
The German International has also agreed to join Chelsea and has reportedly talked to Frank Lampard about his role in the team with new season soon coming into the picture.
Timo Werner is ready to sign his contract as new Chelsea player until June 2025 on next days – paperworks time. Liverpool have not sent any official bid to hijack the move.
Chelsea will pay €55M to RB Leipzig. Timo has already spoken directly with Frank Lampard. 🔵 #CFC

Werner is definitely going to strengthen Chelsea’s attack. Talking about the attack, Chelsea even signed Hakim Ziyech during the winter transfer window, but it was agreed that he will join the Blues the following season.
Thus, Chelsea’s front three options look pretty stacked and have several options to experiment. Apart from all of this, Chelsea is also interested in signing Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell, who has also shown interest in joining the West London based club.
However, the Foxes are demanding not any penny less than £65 million, which is quite high considering the purchasing about to be done by Chelsea amidst the current financial situation of the market.
But considering the desperation of getting a left-back in Chelsea’s dressing room, the Blues might break the bank. Therefore, with this, there’s no harm to draw a few predicted playing XIs of Chelsea ahead of the next season.
1. Lineup 1
(4-2-3-1)

Kepa; James, Rudiger, Christensen, Chilwell; Jorginho, Kovacic/Kante; Werner, Ziyech, Pulisic; Abraham
This lineup doesn’t seem viable since two of the marquee signings will be placed out of their main positions, but this will accommodate Tammy Abraham, who has been brilliant for Chelsea this season.
2. Lineup 2
(4-2-3-1)

Kepa; James, Rudiger, Christensen, Chilwell; Jorginho, Kovacic/Kante; Hudson Odoi/Pulisic, Mount, Ziyech; Werner
On paper, this seems to be the perfect lineup for Chelsea ahead of the next season, and Abraham will be kept as a backup option in the attack.
3. Lineup 3
(4-3-3)
Kepa; James, Rudiger, Christensen, Chilwell; Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic; Hudson Odoi/Pulisic, Werner, Ziyech
This is also a good option for Chelsea but it will deny Mason Mount regular inclusion in the starting XI.
