After the IPL, team India will travel to England and play one of the biggest series in the year.

Virat Kohli’s men will be looking to create history in England, as India will be looking to win over there and underline their status as the premier team in world cricket.

It will be a massive series for Kohli on a personal level, as the Indian skipper had a horrific time over there a few years back.

Kohli came to England as one of the best players in the world, but had a terrible tour which knocked his reputation down a couple of notches.

The Indian skipper will therefore be eager to have a great season this year, as he will want to banish the memories of 2014 in a hurry.

After England, India will travel to Australia in December, as they will face Australia in one of the most eagerly anticipated series this year.

In between that however, India will host West Indies for 2 tests, 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is in November.

INDIA VS WEST INDIES SCHEDULE

Tests 2: Hyderabad and Rajkot
ODIs 5: Mumbai, Guwahati, Kochi, Indore and Pune.
T20Is 3: Kolkata, Chennai and Kanpur

India will also host Australia for five ODIs and two T20Is in February-March, as they will look to prepare themselves for the World Cup next year.

INDIA VS AUSTRALIA SCHEDULE

ODIs 5 : Mohali, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Delhi and Ranchi

T20Is 2 : Bengaluru and Vishakapatnam

The coming season will be crucial for this time, as we will see if this time is really worth the hype or not.

There was a lot of talk that Kohli’s men could win South Africa, England and Australia and go down in history as one of the greatest Indian sides.

India won the ODI and T20I series in South Africa, but lost the test series against the Proteas. Let’s hope they win in the longest format of the game as well in England and Australia this year!
