Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has lashed out at former Australia coach Darren Lehmann for ‘carrying on like he did’. The 38-year old Pietersen believes that the cultural issues had developed during Lehmann’s tenure as Head Coach of the Australian team with his deeds further adding to the problem.
Usually straightforward, Pietersen didn’t mix his words yet another time, saying what he intended to convey. Taking to Twitter, Pietersen uploaded a critising tweet for the 48-year old Lehmann.

“Australian Cricket’s culture review. Having played in that system for the last 4 seasons & with Lehmann carrying on like he did, I’m afraid an explosion was ALWAYS going to happen! Is he still employed by CA?!?!,” Pietersen’s tweet read.
Former coach Lehmann was cleared of any involvement in the infamous Ball Tampering incident which took place in March this year by Cricket Australia. Post the verdict, Lehmann decided to step down from the post on his own terms.
It is not the the first time that Pietersen has taken a dig at Lehmann. When the incident originally broke out, he had expressed doubts over Lehmann’s role in the whole scene then as well.
