Lionel Messi goal vs Man Utd: Watch Barcelona star scores first goal of the night with brilliant shot
Manchester United are taking on Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League tie at the Nou Camp. Lionel Messi gave Barca the lead in the game.
Solskjaer’s men are aiming to do a repeat of the round-of-16 tie against PSG, where Manchester United overturned a two-goal difference to beat the Parisian side at the Parc des Princes.
Luke Shaw’s own goal was the sole difference in the first leg against Barcelona.
Manchester United began the first half of the second leg on a highly positive as the side created significant chances in the opening few minutes.
Marcus Rashford hit the woodwork with the first chance, while McTominay also came close. The drama unfurled soon as VAR overturned the penalty given to Barcelona.

Messi soon scored a second goal as well in the game, as De Gea committed a howler.
Manchester United’s chances of repeating a comeback look bleak with Messi’s brace inside the first 25 minutes of the game already.
Solskjaer’s men are now likely to rely on their Premier League fixtures to secure a Champions League qualification.

Messi will get the headlines but in truth he’s not had to do much. First goal was a lovely finish but we handed it to him. Second shot was tame and de Gea gifted it to him. Can’t legislate for individual errors like this especially from someone as good as Dave. Feel for him.
