Liverpool’s next season kits will be designed by the Nike as the Reds enter into a deal with the sportswear brand ahead of the next season.

Liverpool are in the last year of their contract with the New Balance for their kits, the current deal with Liverpool was reportedly worth £45 million a season.

However, now Liverpool will not further extend their current deal, and according to the Forbes, the Reds are on the verge to sign a new deal with the Nike and Jurgen Klopp’s players will appear in it from the 2020/2021 season.

It is further reported that the deal with Nike will blow the current deal financially, as the leading sportswear brand have offered a deal that will surpass Manchester United’s deal with the Adidas, which is worth £75 million a season.

Moreover, the association of icons like Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk has certainly enhanced their celebrity factor. Thus, the Reds do fancy such lucrative deals which match their worth in today’s football scenario.

The Merseyside giants remain open to offers from all brands with Nike favourites to land the deal. Nike currently sponsors three top-flight English teams in Brighton Hove & Albion, Chelsea and Tottenham.

With Liverpool agreeing to a deal with Nike, it will be among several giants including Barcelona to have rights over their kits. Thus, Nike will gain a certain advantage over their rivals- Puma and Adidas with Liverpool joining hands with Nike.
