Paul Pogba spoke about Real Madrid in length during the international duty with France. However, reports suggest that the move can take place.

Paul Pogba raised concerns among the Manchester United fans with his comments about Real Madrid.

The Frenchman, during a press conference ahead of France’s first Euro qualifier against Moldova, stated that a move to Real Madrid is anyone’s ‘dream.’

“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone,” Paul Pogba began. “It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.”

He further stated that he can’t confirm where he will be in the future. “For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”

The Manchester United fans were justifiably angry with his comments.

However, reports from Spain suggest that Real Madrid are preparing a mega-money move for the Frenchman.

Paul Pogba to Real Madrid?

According to Spanish media outlet Marca, Paul Pogba could actually move to Real Madrid.

The report suggests that Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola has been working behind the scenes for some time to find a new club for the midfielder.

Marca claims that Zinedine Zidane will be given a 300m euro budget for the summer transfer window to lead a squad overhaul at Santiago Bernabeu.

And the French manager is keen on Paul Pogba. The Spanish outlet reports that Zidane is ready to spend big money on the midfielder.

Interestingly, Barcelona reportedly made a bid for the Frenchman during the summer transfer window, but Manchester United rejected the Catalan giants.

Paul Pogba has scored 9 of the 14 goals in this season across all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. As Manchester United look forward to a heavyweight clash against Barcelona in the quarterfinals of the Champions League next month, Solskjaer would pin his hopes on Pogba to steer the side in the midfield.
