Marcus Rashford vs Bournemouth: The United players react to Rashford’s brilliant performance against Bournemouth.

Manchester United cruised to a 4-1 victory against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth last night.

Paul Pogba scored a brace, while Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku scored a goal each as United registered their third successive win under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rashford produced yet another dominant display for the Red Devils, and displayed brilliant skills for the first goal. He dribbled past Nathan Ake and Diego Rico, before serving the ball on the plate for Paul Pogba to score in an open net.

He scored the third goal for Manchester United to give them a solid 3-1 lead at halftime. As Rashford took to Instagram to celebrate the win, the Manchester United players were full of praises for the English youngster.

Marcus Rashford vs Bournemouth:

The Manchester United forward has been in top form this month. Rashford has scored three goals and bagged five assists in December, as he efficiently replaced the forward Romelu Lukaku in front of the goal.

Lukaku, however, also made a good comeback after being on compassionate leave as he scored merely 130 seconds after being subbed on last night.

As he celebrated the win on Instagram, the Manchester United players praised the youngster for his brilliant performance.

Juan Mata exclaimed, “WONDER KID,” while Paul Pogba wrote, “Marcus Rashford you made me dream.”

Diogo Dalot, who impressed the Old Trafford faithful in the limited opportunities he has had on the field, wrote, “What a player!”

Chris Smalling, and former Manchester United star Daley Blind also praised Rashford for his performance. Ian Wright, meanwhile, said, “On fire tonight M.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in his post-match comments, appreciated Rashford’s work rate, and stated that he has the potential to become a ‘top striker.’

Marcus has been class since I’ve come,” said Solskjaer. “He’s scored two now in three games.

“His work rate is unbelievable. He closes down, chases, runs in behind, and the skill for the first goal was brilliant.

“[For the first goal] he holds the ball up, he hasn’t got a right really to go past the second [defender, Diego Rico]. He’s got all the chances in the world, the potential of becoming a top striker.”
