Manchester United were triumphant during their friendly against Inter Milan in Singapore. Academy youngster Mason Greenwood scored the only goal in the second half – proving to be the only separation point in this game.
It was the Red Devils who had the majority of possession and shots on target. The Nerazzurri’s were struggling to match the intensity of the Red Devils from minute one, but the opponents were tame in their finishing.
However, youngster Mason Greenwood took perfection. The initial shot from the free-kick was parried away by the goalkeeper and it felt in Greenwood’ foot. The defender tried to close him down, but the striker was clever and escape contact with an exceptional turn. He had room to shoot the ball from that angle, and did that to plum. He scored from that angle, which beat the goalkeeper Handanovic and a defender in the way.
It was a very well taken goal and well deserved for the Red Devils as well.
