Pedrinho to Real Madrid: Real Madrid are set to make move for another South American star – Pedrinho, from Corinthians.

Real Madrid have had a rather eventful season so far. After parting ways with Julen Lopetegui last month after a series of disappointing performances, the club appointed Santiago Solari as the interim manager.

The club is currently 6th in the league, and only 4 points behind league leaders Barcelona, who thumped the side 5-1 in Lopetegui’s last game in-charge of the club.

Real Madrid’s summer transfer window saw the departure of club’s biggest star, Cristiano Ronaldo. While Real Madrid didn’t make significant offensive signings for the first-team, they bought Thibaut Courtois towards the end of the window.

Howeve, it is now being reported by Marca that Real Madrid are set to make a move for another South American youngster, Pedrinho. The club has been increasingly making moves for youngsters in the continent, having acquired Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr. and Exequiel Palacios earlier in the season.

Pedrinho to Real Madrid:

Pedrinho, the Brazilian midfielder who currently plays for Corinthians, has attracted Real Madrid’s interest. The Brazilian club’s president, Andres Sanchez, traveled to Spain to meet former Corinthians footballer Ronaldo at Real Valladolid’s office, after which he traveled to Santiago Bernabeu to meet Florentino Perez.

It has been claimed by Marca that Real Madrid intends to make a transfer for Pedrinho, and loan him out to Real Valladolid.

The 20-year-old footballer can play at several positions throughout the midfield, but is most comfortable on the right wing. The player’s release clause is reportedly 50m dollars.

However, Real Madrid could face a tough competition with Barcelona for the signature of Pedrinho. The Catalan side is also keeping tabs on the youngster, and it is reported that a director of Barcelona is already in Brazil.

Earlier in the summer, Real Madrid signed Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo from Brazil. While Vinicius has already made a few first-team appearances in the league, Rodrygo will join the club at the start of the 2019/20 season.

Last week, Real Madrid also completed the signing of Exequiel Palacios. The youngster will reportedly sign a 4-year deal with the club, and Real Madrid are set to pay a fee in the region of 20m euros. Interestingly, Palacios could play against Real Madrid as River Plate will be participating in the Club World Cup next month.
