Sanchez to City depends on Arsenal getting French star
With just over 8 hours to go before the transfer window shuts, football fans all over the world are glued to the internet, keenly following their club’s activity.
In what will be the biggest deal of the day, it looks like Manchester City will finally get Alexis Sanchez for close to 60 million pounds.
But there is a condition to that deal going through. While Arsenal have verbally agreed to the deal, they want to sign a replacement first and have asked for a few hours more.
In spite of the various rumours surrounding PSG’s Julian Draxler, Arsenal are going after the man they have been chasing all summer, Thomas Lemar.

Arsene Wenger absolutely loves the Frenchman and was very close to signing him earlier in the summer. But Monaco were quoting a figure close to 70 million, something that Wenger was not ready to spend.
But now with Sanchez almost surely off, Wenger has gone for the kill as Arsenal have put in a Premier League record bid of 90 million pounds for Lemar.
Monaco are not really interested in selling Lemar, but would find it very hard to refuse such a huge bid.
