SRH vs KXIP Dream 11 team Prediction: IPL Dream 11 Fantasy Cricket Tips for SRH vs KXIP as TSR helps you with your Dream 11 team

We are into the final week of the IPL and 2 playoff spots are up for grabs, with 6 teams mathematically competing for those spots. Two of those involved in this midfield rut take on each other in Hyderabad on Monday.

SRH find themselves in a favourable position, as they have a positive net run rate and have three games in hand as opposed to MI, KKR, RCB and RR. KXIP too have 3 games in hand, but their NRR is negative and hence could cause them some trouble, if a bunch of teams are stacked up at 14 points at the end of the league phase.

A couple of wins in the next 3 games could however help that NRR go up, something that KXIP will be closely looking at.

SRH are coming off two consecutive losses and would be hoping to get back their winning momentum at this crucial juncture in the IPL season. With Warner here for just one more game, SRH would be hoping that he can bid Hyderabad a memorable farewell, taking them a step closer to playoff qualification.

KXIP too are coming off two consecutive losses and desperately need a win to get back into the mix for the playoffs. With no big players leaving for KXIP, they would feel they have a good chance of making it to the final 4.

Let’s get to business now.

SRH vs KXIP Dream 11 team Prediction

Wicketkeeper for SRH vs KXIP Dream 11

With Bairstow going back to England and KL Rahul being classified as a batsman, you are going to have a tough time selecting a keeper for this game; especially considering that both Pooran and Saha play in the lower middle order.

I am going in with Saha, as he helps me with my budget, something that is of paramount importance with Gayle, Rahul and Warner in play.

Bowlers for SRH vs KXIP Dream 11

Hyderabad has often presented us with surfaces that are a little on the slow side. However, with such brilliant stroke makers in both sides, you can’t rely too much on the bowling, considering how the Dream 11 points system does not give bowlers their fair share.

Mohammad Shami would be my first bowler for this game, thanks to the kind of form that he has been in this season. Bowling with the new ball and at the death, Shami has been picking up wickets at crucial stages, being exposed to conditions when he can pick up a few cheap wickets. Get him in.

Khaleel Ahmed has slotted brilliantly into the SRH bowling unit, picking up 8 wickets in 5 games. Using his left-arm angle to good effect, the Indian bowler has posed a different kind of challenge to batsmen during the middle overs and at the death. Again, on current form and at just 8.5cr, you just need to get him in.

With the square boundaries a little longer in Hyderabad, spinners would play a big role. Murugun Ashwin becomes a brilliant pick, coming in at just 8cr, bowling 4 overs and helping himself to a few wickets against a SRH unit that has 5 right handers in its top 7.

All-Rounders for SRH vs KXIP Dream 11

Ravi Ashwin has admirably led KXIP this season, picking up bucketloads of wickets and scoring those little cameos at the death too. While earlier Ashwin was all about strangling the runs during the middle phase, this season he has discovered the art of picking up wickets too. 203.5 points to his name, Ashwin has to be a sure shot pick, thanks to his brilliant all-round abilities.

For the second all-rounder pick, I go in with Vijay Shankar, who has provided me with steady points all through the IPL. While he hasn’t really set the IPL on fire with his batting, his 3D skills have helped him amass decent number of points. Coming in at just 8.5cr and contributing massively in 3 ways, Shankar is an invaluable pick.

Batsmen for SRH vs KXIP Dream 11

Some of the finest stroke makers in the IPL will take the field on Monday. KL Rahul and Chris Gayle have played with so much heart and responsibility this season. While earlier it used to be all about scoring in the powerplay and getting their teams off to good starts; this season both Gayle and Rahul have ensured that they try and stay right till the end.

Shouldering this added responsibility has helped KXIP and Fantasy managers alike, as both these players find themselves amongst the top run-getters this season. Get the duo in.

Manish Pandey has rediscovered himself after being promoted to number 3. The KXIP bowling unit isn’t as threatening as other bowling units across the IPL and thus the in-form Manish Pandey should be able to help himself to a half-century. Get him in for sure.

David Warner is still the leading run-scorer in this IPL and that is enough reason to warrant him a place in my side. He loves batting in Hyderabad and would want to give his franchise a victory before leaving for Australian duty.

For the final batting pick, I would be getting in Mandeep Singh, as I need to get in a batsman worth 8cr, and he is the best possible pick. Batting at number 6, Mandeep has played some handy cameos, helping KXIP set above par totals.
