WATCH: Mick Schumacher beats Sebastian Vettel in Race of Champions
Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel teamed up for the Race of Champions Nations Cup in Mexico and finished up as runners up. They lost out to the team of Tom Kristensen and World RallyX champion Johan Kristoffersson.
And while it was a sight to behold for every Ferrari romantic, things got a little heated between the two in the group stage of the Champion of Champions event.
Mick Schumacher, who has been recently drafted into the Ferrari driver academy came out on top.

Vettel has spoken extremely highly of Mick Schumacher after he was formally drafted into the Ferrari driver academy. He emphasised on how proud Michael would be watching his son achieve so much in such a short span of time.
“Of course it is special to form a team with Mick. During my debut in the Race of Champions, I watched Michael and now I could do it together with his son,” said Vettel
“I’m sure Michael would be extremely proud of his son.” he added.
Vettel is prepping himself for a high octane 2019 season, one where he would be hoping that he and Ferrari can together put up a stiffer challenge.
They were in the title race last season, especially up until the summer break, but mistakes on and off the track meant that the challenge gradually faded away.
Hopefully things go more smoothly at Ferrari this season.
