WATCH: Virat Kohli engages in a tussle with Dickwella
India required quick wickets given the less time in hand. Sri Lankan players Niroshan Dickwella and skipper Dinesh Chandimal were battling it out to help the team.
Indians didn’t bowl well in the first innings, upped their ante to produce a rebound in the second innings. Sri Lanka lost almost half of the batting lineup as they fell into the trap set up by the hosts.
When India were slightly getting into the scheme of things, both the batsmen were talking in the middle to discuss the plans In pursuit of chasing the target.
Indian skipper thought both were wasting time and thus the scene added fuel to the fire. Seeing this, the umpires called both batsmen and Virat Kohli to talk about it.
The umpires Richard Kettleborough, Nigel Llong handled the situation well and brought calmness among the players and thus peace was restored back to normal.
