#5 Chelsea’s defence not able to withstand pressure once again

Chelsea approached in a balanced way in this game, but their defensive susceptibility could cause them problems in the games against big teams. When Wolves started to pressurize the Blues backline, Raul Jimenez and Patrick Cutrone enjoyed more possession and caused trouble by making runs behind the backline.

The goals they conceded in a silly way could have been avoided. The corner came from a mistake from the defender. Saiss scored from the corner, even though the goalkeeper can be partially blamed for it. The defence was entirely torn apart for the second goal when Doherty had acres of space in front of him. His shot was saved by the keeper, but Cutrone followed up in the rebound.
