Having scored 12,627 runs in 230 matches at an average of 61.59 including 43 centuries and 57 half-centuries, Kohli is currently the sixth-ranked batsman in the list of most number of runs scored in Asia. Kohli needs another 871 runs to overdo Dravid (13,497) in the category.

Kohli, 31, is an early entrant in the category of batsmen who have scored the maximum amount of runs after turning 30. Having scored 3,236 runs in 65 matches across formats at an average of 53.93 including eight centuries and 19 half-centuries, Kohli is 113th on the list of batsmen with most runs after the age of 30.

Former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara tops this list with 16,369 runs in 311 matches across formats which had come at an average of 50.83. Having scored 43 centuries and 90 half-centuries in this period, the southpaw also has the most 50+ scores after the age of 30.
